EXPERIENCES
I love to create immersive experiences. They have been quick selfie stops, or full on 20 minutes projection rooms. Each one has been carefully curated to make sure the visitor will feel some satisfaction for engaging and spending time with it.
Staying up to date on digital innovations is also a fun task. I have networked with dozens of vendors to make sure I can access the best technology with the best budget.
Below are a few examples of recent work in retail experiences.
The Bricklab
The Bricklab is a full immersion room where guests are encouraged to participate in an activity to find a missing character using a vessel they build and capture that is imported into the environment.
They are also able to manipulate their creation on the walls of the room and activate different scenes in the space.
Each theme then had to be created in the 3D space. We used Cinema 4D and Maya to model and render each animated scene and place them into the environment.
I worked with a team to create wonderful concept art and story boards to bring 3 different environments to life. A city theme, space theme, and tropical island theme.
We then tested and troubleshot each theme. The experience turned out to be a fantastic tourism draw to the store with sustained bookings and commercial conversion.
Expression
The Expression is a magic mirror of sorts where visitors are able to select a character and background. Then they have fun as the character they selected mirrors the visitor’s movements and facial expressions.
Playsurface
The Playsurface is a concept that has not made it to public installation… yet, but was a fantastic project to work on. Visitors are able to create pieces that are used to complete a task on the screen.
I worked with a fantastic team to story board and create assets to use in the game. We were able to bring the experience to life and test it in a controlled setting to get some great results and feedback.
